1. Altonville Mine Tours. It was the strongest maze of the 2020 season and once again it’s the strongest maze this time around. The claustrophobic tunnels mixed with the hilbilly accents and insanely detailed theming make Altonville Mine Tours the strongest Scarefest maze this season.

Alton Towers Scarefest is great fun, a great atmosphere and a must do. A note to the Towers; Although I love and look forward to my annual visit it seems that this year its all about the exrtra charges once inside. The mazes need looking at and maybe should not have a charge attatched now they are inside the park.

Is Fast Track at Alton Towers worth it?
Alton Towers is a brilliant day out but I could not imagine having a such a good experience if I had to queue for 60 minutes for the best rides. We bought the Silver package fast-track option with Smiler added on, which cost £30 each.

Brand new this year is Alton Towers’ Trick O’ Treat Town, an interactive indoor walk through a fictional town featuring Treat Street, Witchy Woods, The Graveyard and The Hill. In true trick-or-treat style, knock on the doors and find your bag filled either with a treat, or get sprayed by a water pistol.
