Are Kirkey seats road legal?

We produce seats for just about any racing application imaginable. KIRKEY RACING seats are not designed for street use in a road car where fixed mounting is not available.

Are Kirkey seats FIA approved?

The Kirkey set is not FIA approved and requires the brace as far as I know. It may in fact pass the test but I think most Kirky seats end up in round a round cars and not FIA sanctioned events, thus my assumption is Kiry doesn’t want to go through the time and expense of FIA certification.

The seats are fine, most of the time just by removing the lap belt bolt on the stock belts and feeding it through the new seat you can safely use race seats and stock belts when not on the track and use the harnesses when you need them.
