How do I appeal my Uconn decision?
To appeal your admission decision, complete the Admission Appeal and Change Request Form found in your applicant portal. Students may not submit an appeal for the Storrs Spring Admission Program, as acceptance to this program is by invitation-only.

For any period, the total grade points for the courses graded “A”-“F” divided by the total credits give the grade point average. The term GPA includes all courses graded “A”-“F” in a semester or summer session.

Is UConn a minor?
A minor is available only to a matriculated student currently pursuing a baccalaureate degree. While not required for graduation, a minor provides an option for the student who wants an academic focus in addition to a major. Substitutions for minors in the School of Engineering must be approved at the Dean’s level.
How many minors can you have at UConn?
Students can elect to complete one or more minors, though it is not required for graduation. You can choose one of the many minors offered through CLAS departments, or you can explore minor options offered through another school or college at UConn.
When can I drop classes UConn?
After the tenth day of classes and through the ninth week a student may drop one course for any reason with permission from the student’s advisor. When a student drops a course after the second week, the Registrar places the course on the student’s record with a ‘W’ (for withdrawal).
Is UConn having in person classes?
Students will not be able to attend in-person classes or university events if they do not wear a mask and adhere to physical distancing requirements. Recreation Center: The UConn Rec Center will open to students on August 31.
When should I hear back from UConn?
Students will be notified approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the review period begins and all application materials have been received and verified by the admissions office. Admissions decisions made close to and after May 1 have an enrollment deposit deadline of two weeks from the date of the decision letter.
