What is BNVD?
The BNVD is a dual tube night vision goggle/binocular that can also be turned into a monocular, by rotating one side up and out of the way. While used as a monocular with a weapon or laser sight, it allows user to keep one eye naturally night vision adapted for enhanced situational awareness.

AN/PVS-31 (BNVD) White Phosphor L-3 Warrior Systems’ BNVD is a compact, lightweight, Gen III dual tube goggle featuring White Phosphor tubes and a minimum FOM of 2376. It has an ergonomic low-profile design and offers superior situational awareness compared to a single tube goggle.

What is Dtnvg?
The Dual Tube Night Vision Goggle (DTNVG) is a lightweight binocular night vision device made for the professional user. Having full depth perception is key for all sorts of terrain, and with the DTNVG, the user will have that at a very low weight with all features necessary.
What is RNVG?
The RNVG is designed as the most rugged night vision goggle available. Traditionally, the weakest point in a night vision goggle is the joint between the optic pods and the bridge. This point accounts for the majority of catastrophic breakage when a NVG is dropped or hit.

Why are quad nods illegal?
There are no government restrictions on civilian ownership of Night Vision Image Intensifiers or Thermal Imaging Devices. These restrictions are usually in response to heavy demand from the U.S. Department Of Defense and there are just not enough units to fulfill the wants of the civilian market too.
