Are H&R spacers safe?
I do have a few friends who have ran high quality hub centric 25mm spacers without an issue on street and track. So long as you stick with a reputable forged alloy brand like H&R and have the proper bolts, you will not have a problem.
Is it bad to put wheel spacers on?
Are wheel spacers safe? That said, wheel spacers affect suspension geometry, and will change the scrub radius, affecting braking stability, and also reduce the effective spring rate at the wheels. Wheel spacers can also cause wheel bearing failure.
Are H&R spacers Hubcentric?
H&R TRAK+® Wheel Spacers are hubcentric and feature a full contact hub—just like the factory hub—for even load force distribution and lateral support.
Are wheel spacers bad for axles?
Whether it’s because of too narrow of axles or not enough wheel offset, wheel spacers can put your tires and wheels where you want them to be under your fender. So, are they dangerous to use? In a one-word summation, no.
Can you go fast with wheel spacers?
The larger the spacer, the larger the leverage becomes. This reduces the life of the wheel bearing as they are not made to take leverage forces and can therefore wear faster, increasing rolling resistance and power loss of the car.
What are H&R spacers made of?
aluminum/magnesium alloy
All H&R TRAK+® Wheel Spacers are hub-centric for perfect fit. Constructed from a proprietary aluminum/magnesium alloy specially designed for wheel spacers, TRAK+® are stronger than 6061-T6 billet. Additionally, TRAK+® are hard anodized for extra strength and corrosion resistance.
What are dra spacers?
DR Series wheel spacers move the wheel out from the hub effectively widening the stance of the vehicle and lowering its roll center. This simple modification increases lateral stability which in turn provides improved handling greater safety and of course the sleek style you’ve been looking for.
