megabus Gold sleeper service has come to an end. But it’s not all bad news! We’re really sad that from 21st May 2017, our overnight sleeper between Scotland and London ended. We’ve got plenty of low cost travel options between Scotland and London via our megabus.com service.
What is Megabus gold?
Megabus Gold is designed to provide an affordable overnight bus service, without the torture of sleeping upright. Instead, you get a bunk, a muffin and a cheery fleece blanket to last you through the night. In other words, it’s the closest thing in non-wizarding Britain you’ll find to the Knight Bus.

Can you sleep on the Megabus?

Can you eat and drink on megabus?
Can I take food and drink on the coach or train? Sure. You can bring cold food, cold drinks and hot drinks that have a lid on. For safety reasons, we can’t allow hot food on our coaches.
What if I missed my megabus?
Megabus does not offer any refund if you don’t show up on time. If you know that you will miss your Megabus then you can change your ticket to an updated time. You have to contact Megabus at least 6 hours before the departure time. Megabus will charge you extra for updating your ticket.
